or is it because all we have is Morris Dancers?
no National costume, no "dance" to call our own

It's the way we were brought up bobbi. At least it was in my case.
Perhaps that "stiff upper lip" stems from sucking on all them limes yonks ago:)

I think Billy Connolly had it right. The theme from the Archers would make a great national anthem.
Do you really like italian food.............I've been to Italy once and have no wish to return. I don't like the French much but their food goes a long way to redemption.
People do let themselves go. It's down to different personalities.
