Japanese Acer

Hi can anyone help,
have a large Japanese acer(mapel leaf red) some of the leaves have a silvery residue on the top, and have found what looks like black fly under some of the leaves, please can anyone advise what causing this and correct treatment to cure.

Residue is the aphids droppings, which can be removed with a spray of a few drops of washing up liquid in water and it should rid the plant of Black Fly also. Best to use one of those large pump-up bottles for a powerful jet.
