Hi, I used to buy sugar free mints at Aldi for 99p for a 135g bag but then they disappeared from the shelves, I asked the manager and he said they have stopped stocking them. The name on the packet was Paroli and there was 3 different types, they were made in Germany. I have searched other shops but haven't had any luck finding anything like them, has anyone come across them anywhere, I would love to find another stockist. Thanks, Kath.

Hi cazzz, I have tried other mints but nothing seems to be as good, these sugar free retro sweets just don't taste right, maybe someone else will come up with something. Problem I have is that I have to rely on other people for getting out so I can't look around very well. Thanks, Kath.
Like a lot of things in Aldi and Lidl, there are "names" on the products which are ,in effect, "own-brands" (they use them rather than Aldi and Lidl on the front of packages , cans etc. ). i think that Paroli may be one of those - made specially for Aldi with that name on - and you probably won't get them anywhere else.
The Paroli brand name is owned by August Storck KG. Their UK subsidiary, Bendicks, only makes chocolate-based products, so Aldi must have specially imported their sugar-free mints directly from Germany. It's therefore unlikely that you'll find them elsewhere but you could try an email to [email protected]
