~One`s rest is being disturbed

The Police Helicopter has just woken me up, yet again, coming in to land. Adjacent to this Close are fields and then a dayllight only operational business area that they could easily use, yet choose to save 2 seconds by descending to virtually roof height over our houses. Have just phoned the Police HQ and got fobbed off with a "write in to the Chief Constable about it" rather than being told the name and rank of the officer responsible for the helicopters. Bet the Chief Constable wouldn`t tolerate a helicopter at 50` over HIS house in the wee small hours. How can I get a proper response?
