Just over a week to the Brighton Festival 2011.

Three weeks or so, where the whole concept of "politically correct" will stand as much chance as the suggestion of a self imposed pay cut in the House of Commons.

The rest of the country will either ...

... ignore us completely, or

... flock to join in the fun, or

... frown disapprovingly.

Mostly ignore us, hopefully ... then we can get on with the fun without getting into trouble.

But, if you fancy something cheeky and harmless ... in fact, almost suburban and respectable ... to which to bring your elderly mother ... how about The Lady Boys Of Bangkok !

JJ - one of the best shows I ever saw - we went twice - was Cage aux Folles at the Theatre Royal, it was a local group performing it but they'd borrowed the costumes from the West End cast. They looked like your pic, and if you've ever seen the show, the cast were emulating them too.
Fabulous show. I love the Brighton Festival, so much and so varied. I always used to go to the Artists' Open Houses. Is Shirley Trevena (RA) still exhibiting? She used to have an Open House in Montpelier.

Very difficult to tell what they were as some are very attractive and seductive !!!!!! :-))))))))

I know redman, we sat next to a couple of lads that had no idea about the lady Boys and one went off with one of them......I would have loved to have seen his face the next morning. Some of them, as you say are very beautiful, we had a bit of a bet going to see if we could tell who was who !

jj...you're probably right about UK. This happened in Hong Kong many moons ago and I although I was cheesed off at the time, it was nothing compared to the p1ss taking that followed me for ages because the guys I had been drinking with had sussed out the situation as I left the bar with her.
