bleeding while pregnant.

i am 7 weeks pregnant by dates ans started bleeding at the weekend had A scan which showed a sac of 5 weeks. i am still bleeding with no pain. does this mean im miscarrying. i have to go back in two weeks for another scan. has any one been in this situation?

go to your GP now! i started bleeding at 11 weeks and miscarried. i'm not saying this could happen to you but its better to be safe than sorry.
i did bleed again on my third pregnancy but all was fine and baby was healthy.

Sounds like it im afraid. Some people do bleed but go on to have healthy babies. Not alot the doctors can do , to be honest with yah. As awful as it sounds u just gotta let nature takes it course. Wishing u all the best though. I know what its like. Lost 2 this year already. xxxx Best Wishes

It is possible for the embryo to die inside and you don't necessarily miscarry until weeks later, i.e the baby died at 5 weeks but its only now you are bleeding, natures way of expelling it. Did the doctors not say anything about a heartbeat? I had this happen to me at a 10 week scan as I was bleeding to find the embryo was only 6 weeks old and dead. Good Luck

i hope that everyone is proved incorrect Fray. is there any chance that your dates may have been wrong and you are only 5/6 weeks pregnant. I cant recall when the heartbeat is seen from scan and it may just be an implantation bleed.

If you get any bad stomach pains then call the EPU straight away and dont wait the 2 weeks.

i was 24 weeks when i was sitting on the couch watching t.v. when all of a sudden i had a huge flow of blood spilling out.... i started freaking out and sobbing when i ran to my mother and she took me to the hospital. i then found out that my baby was fine, but the nurse asked me, "did you have sex within the past 24 hours." i told then yes and thats when the situation was answered. sometimes during pregnancy and you have sex, your pelvic can get damage and you can start to bleed. its not a huge issue but it is good to go to the hospital just to make sure... if its the same thing as what i just explained then you will more than likely be put on pelvic rest which means nothing absolutely nothing "up there" until your doctor says otheriwse.

hi iam going threw the same i am 7 wk pregnant and started bleedin 6 days ago well it isnt blood it a pinish discharge. i went 4 a scan and i av got 2 go bak in 2 week i go bak a week on monday. i spoke 2 1 of my friends hu is a nurse and she sed wen u went 4 a scan they shud av checked 4 a heartbeat and 2 see if my cervix was open the didnt tell me none of this. they told me everything was looked normal. we chud b misscarryin.i misscarried b4 bt it as all *** away from me within 2 day so i understand i fort if i wasgoin 2 misscary it wud av all *** away from me by now. hope every thing gos well let me no please kellyx

Because i thought i was further on then i am they thought my baby had died cos it was so tiny but its not its dates are wrong. Anyway enough off that rubbish i went 2 the hospital when i started bleedin they sed that there was nothin they could about so its up2 you.

Hi just seen this on the Internet as am looking 4 answers for bleeding while pregnant am 8 weeks and started bleeding today it started off like a brown discharge and turned 2 bleeding... I when to the hospital and was sent home as there's nothing they can do.. Someone will give me a scan on Tuesday if everything is still ok by then.. X
