Trying to find out about M. Goodman

Hi,

I have a B&W pastel by M goodman and wanted to know a bit more about the artist.

I have had a look on the tinternet but can't find out much apart from it might be Marian Goodman. I can't seem to find any aother work by her/him either.

Marian Goodman appears to be an art dealer rather than an artist.

In that case it prbably isn't Marian. This picture is dated and is circa 1893

I once found out the name of an artist by putting keywords in 'Google Images' and, amazingly, the picture came up and I was able to back track from there.

i also have a picture of a mother reading a letter to daughter at a window, has the same signature as the m goodman at mikeartcollection, i am also trying to find out about it, if any one can help
