the queens knees

whats this with the blanket that always seen to be covering her knees when she's outside and traveling
i can understand it being of use in an open carriage but she had it over her knees in the rolls royce she was in friday windows closed and presume the heating on ?

The Queen has had one operaion on a knee and now suffers great pain, has had to give up horse riding and had a lift installed at Sandringham. Assume that she has been advised to keep them warm while she awaits future surgery when the time is right

Nothing unusual about grandma having a blanket in the car on the way to a wedding I don't think. Especially as she wasn't allowed to take her favourite warm coat and thick stockings!

poor old queenie, can't do right for doing wrong, leave the old lady alone. if she wants a blanket over her knees what's the problem? she does a darned sight better than many an over 80.

I assume Buckingham Palace have a "blanket" policy about protecting their elderly monarchs! LOL!
