CD player busted

I keyed in No 7 when the player only takes 6 CDs & now it wont work.....please fix as I cant drive without my music - sob :(

If I've understood your question, why is there even an option for disc 7 when the player only takes 6?

cos, snags its a combined unit with radio channels; has push buttons 1 - 0 with CD/AM/FM on a Jag X. Without my CDs I cant drive, if I cant drive I'll have to stay here & drive Abers mad.....I know that's not ideal :(

I highly doubt that pressing one button is going to break the unit.

But then again, as you've elected to not share a single bit of information about what radio we are talking about here I'm not sure how you expect people to help.

There's a questions chuck....its a regular JX fitting.

Ah yes, a car that's been in production for about 45 years and has had at least 10 different generations, now if only they'd fitted the same "regular" radio for all those 45 years we'd be getting somewhere.

Check it out & it has Jaguar only on it... I cant get the CD holder out either. Checked the Handbook = no info !

CD box removed from holding (difficult) and loose screw in mechanism re-fitted - working great :)
