radiator valve removed
11 Answers
my grandaughter has removed the valve from the radiator while her mom turned her back for a couple of seconds. (Isn't it always the way?). It is a valve with the numbers on it going up to six. When my daughter tried to get it back on, it wouldn;t go. There is a metal ring at the bottom with a thread on it, but there does not appear to be anything which this thread screws on to. I have had a go and cannot do it either. We did not try pushing it on, as I thought that the fact that it had this metal thing on it meant we had to screw it on. We did think of asking my grandaughter aged 2 to put it back on but failing that, can anyone please provide an answer. Thank you in advance.

There are some with baynet fittings - but that's not what you are describing.

Thank you all for your answers. Yes scotman, it did look like the pic you sent except it is a metal screw thingy at the bottom not white. I will try putting it on 1 or 6 joesdaddy and see if that works. Many thanks builder, at least now I know she has not broken it, we will perserveer and jig jig jiggle it a bit.
