yep' i agree zebedee, although a few days ago i watched'the book of eli' it was so good,i'm glad i did'nt read the book first

Books definitely!

I agree when books have been made into films, they've lost the plot along the way.
Nearly always books, there's nothing worse than seeing a film and someone's done a naff job of casting and moving onto something which has always appalled me Cliff Richard once played Heathcliffe ( and I don't care if it was a musical- just no:(
films, i'm to lazy to read books
I love both.
Not every film is of a book..........and not every book is made into a film.
<<slightly concerned at Triggs "reefer"ing films!!

Books wayyyy better than the films, usually a lot more detail which usually gets missed out in films.

books, definitely. I can't tell you the last time I sat through a whole film at home and we never go to the cinema.
If I read the books first I am invariably disappointed with the film because I have already pictured it in my mind and other people's imaginations are different than mine and the same applies the other way around.
books the pictures are better....
Books. Papillon, for example, was a great film, the (much longer) book is even better.
