'kin Parcel Force again......

Doorbell just rang, time I got to the door Parcel Force was driving away. Card in box says "Has been taken to the Post Office branch...... When I looked closer I saw it was being taken to the next village rather than my local one. Bar stewards.

Didn't time it, but I was upstairs and so it would have been less than a minute.

You mean, Mousey, they actually knock at your door - ours just leave any parcels outside my front door without knocking or ringing the bell. My Postman does his nut, when he delivers our letters.

If we are really lucky - they lob the parcel over our double side driveway gates.

I think your lucky they rang - My wife saw a PO van outside our house heard the letter box saw the van drive away went to see what had been delivered and found said card.

I have heard tales of posties just taking the cards and never the parcel.

these Parcel Force guys are notorious for writing out the card in the van before they get out.
Last parcel we were waiting for was left on the doorstep of the correct house number but an entirely different street ! the kind person there brought it to our house.
