So the Archbishop of Canterbury has said that "the killing of Osama bin Laden while he was not armed has left him with a very uncomfortable feeling".

That uncomfortable in fact that it killed him. :0)

It is interesting to note however that the Roman Catholic church would not be commenting on the killing of the leader by American forces.

Would Dr Rowan Williams have also been better not comment on it?

May I add that if the Americans had taken Osama bin Laden alive, what do you think would have happened?

For a start it would have been the start of a very lengthy and costly trial, and in the meantime the terrorists would have taken hostages etc, in an attempt to obtain his release.

Much better the way it turned out, regardless of what the Archbishop of Canterbury thinks.
I agree with many posters on this thread.
He is,without a doubt, the worst AB of Canterbury we have ever had.
It,s a pity he can,t look nearer to home to sort out some problems,in the Church in general, rather than make inflammatory comments, over the death of OBL.
