How do I go about restring a hills clothes airer

Turn it upside down, that way the arms will stay in position.

Couldn't say about a particular brand but I have tried tightening a rotary line before now, and it didn't turn out that well. As I discovered, you have to measure and tie the outermost loop in place, as it defines where the arms will be. Get it wrong and you get a stressed frame with maybe a long side and a short side (if you are lucky). But having got that right, the rest is a case of threading and pulling tight, making sure you don't distort anything as you go.
