Children's Story - Nasturtiums and Wellies

At primary school I read a story in which some old wellies or boots of some kind were left out in a garden and ended up with nasturtiums growing in them. Can anyone please help me with a title?

GK Fanatic, thanks so much for your answer. I'm sorry not to have responded before but I didn't receive notification of it. I don't think the story at your link actually is the one in mind. Partly because it seems a bit dark for a primary school story and partly because it just doesn't seem familiar; I seem to remember some element of accident in it - a bit like Jack's beanstalk beans being thrown out of the window. I wonder if it could be an idea born of the one I knew. There's a link on that site to contact the author; I'll have to give that a try.
I'd still be grateful for any other ideas but thanks again.
