Thanks.. is there any significance to Meg losing her tail? Like.. does that contribute to him escaping in some way?

Ahh ok sorry.. so Tam is running away from the witches... across a bridge, one of the horses pulls onto the horses tail to try and stop them but it comes off so they get away as witches can't cross water?
