If you buy a cheap bottle of wine, open it and it tastes horrendous. Do you:

a) throw it away
b) drink it, cringing. Hoping it gets better as you push on >

Throw it away or use it in cooking. If it starts off horrendous, chances are it won't get any better....

drink it. Its a sin to waste alcohol. Yeast cells gave up their life to give you that wine!

As long as you get the top of the bottle in the actual plug hole, you can leave it to drain while you open another one.

But what is worse for you; bad red or bad white?

I find after that strange shiver that bad red gives you, the marathon can begin.

Pour it into a jug along with Vodka, gin, brandy, cointreau, orange juice, martini rosso and lemonade. Chop up some fruit and sling that in, et voila, you have sangria!

This happened recently but the wine wasn't THAT cheap, so I took it back to Waitrose. Got a refund and was told to pick any TWO bottles of my choice. Result!!
