I have bits of old dried blutack on my kitchen wall which won't come off in the usual way.Does anyone know how to get it off?

Try warming them up with a hairdryer.
marwel - what is the wall painted with?
Roll some more blue-tack over it after you warmed the area.
DIY store, called sticky stuff remover
Put new blu tack on the old and the new will oil the old and remove it
