Just to let those who asked to be informed, the kindle is great. Turned out to be a doddle to use and have so far downloaded about 15 free books and bought 4. It's really spooky watching them just appear..............

My new PC has a touch screen facility..............I daren't use it.

Even a second screen which ran at the current 2fps which I could just do reading on would be grand - as long as I could connect it like the other screens and drag word docs onto it like a normal screen.

I suppose it could be done on a kindle if I just sent things to myself, but it breaks the work-flow a little bit.

I'm hoping to get one soon. I still love my books but I had to put them up in the loft during a mass clearout last year. The Kindle will definitely be a space saver for me.
