All I'm doing is saying I wasn't taking the pee out of her dad & questioning the farmhand bit - having lived on a working farm myself for 14 years.

I've explained this before, and had my post removed and was suspended. But here goes. I do not 'often' cook for farm hands. I do twice a year. This is when the poly tunnel - plants have to be picked clean, the plants removed and the soil sterilised. My brother has salad crops, herbs, strawberries and other soft fruit and tomatoes under plastic. We used to have a barbecue for everybody, but for the past few years the weather hasn't been suitable for that. On the farm there are 6 regular workers, but when it comes to emptying times past workers come back just for the day, or regular workers bring in relatives - it is understood that they are not paid for this, but are fed and take home produce as a thank you. Is it so unbelievable?
