A posse of agitated blokes went round to someone's house to sort him out 'verbally' because they had been told that he had abused his former girlfriend.
Unfortunately, it all got a bit physical and they ended up bundling into the blokes house and had a punch up.
Because the single bloke is a nasty piece of work and has previous, will the posse be treated more leniently ?
Close enough ?

the follownig day the police went to the person B and C house to take to station. they then called person A (who i am concerned for as he is relative to me) they asked if he coudl cometo the statino at some point to see them regarding a fight that had taken place.
he went striaght to the statino and admitted that he was there and involved, he co-operated with the offiers DNS samples finger prints etc.... and has been released on bail pending charge next month where he hs to attend th police statino again.
the staff sargeant has said that he has been full y cooperational and that although viloance is not the answer that he can see he is 'noraml' with a good job, no history

I appreciate that you may be worried but your question is so garbled and upside down, and split into chunks that I think a lot of folks who could help will be put off.
Cut and Paste what you have already typed out onto a word document and then edit it into a proper question. There is a limit of 2000 (?) characters so you may still have to split the post, but put one half in the top question box and the remainder in the first answer box on the thread.
I hope someone can help you.

As for the guys who went around to the individual's house, I don't think that was a very good idea. The girl should have sent the police around to his house instead and then none of this would have happened! Will they get leniency? Probably not, as the police will rightly say it was 3 against 1 and they shound not have gone into his house in the first place. They may not be allowed to take his previous convictions, if indeed he has any, into consideration. Either way, there is a big difference between verbal and physical abuse and they should not have taken this matter into their own hands. This was a matter for the police and the law! (just my opinion)
