fridge freezer noise

I have a zanussi fridge freezer about 4 1/2 yrs old and it has started to make a ringing noise everytime the motor starts up.

My daughter was here last night and asked whose telephone she could hear. That is the sound it makes.

Any ideas please.

Ummm.... I can only asume it may be bearings wearing out or something else rubbing/grinding? You could try a service but I suspect being aware and fixing/replacing when it packs up might be the way to go. That said at just 4½ years maybe you can claim if it finally goes wrong.
