I'm well chuffed today. Last night I got given too much change in Tesco. The old fella gave me a tenner instead of a fiver and instead of pocketing it (like I probably would normally) I told him the mistake because he was very nice to me and said hello, how are you when I approached the till. He seemed grateful that I'd told him.

Then, I get a call from a woman who I did a survery for once. She asked me if I could do one tonight that involves eating crisps for 90 mins and getting paid £40 for the pleasure. That is my dream come true!

Ever had any karma moments?

It wasn`t exactly karma but I was on a sailing holiday and a stupid idiot crashed the boat into some coral and I had to go to hospital and have stitches in my eyebrow. The treatment cost me $99. The next day we were in a bar and I found a $100 note on the floor. Needless to say, I kept it (and spent it on margaritas)

ha ha, that's great SJ. Well, not great that you got hurt. You know what I mean.

I'm not sure Doc. My sister gave this woman my number a few years ago but I don't know how she got involved. This is only my second one in about 4 years so it's not a big money maker but it's a £40 bonus I wasn't expecting this week. I'm sure I saw someone else mention them here a couple of days ago. I think it was maybe Chrissa. She might know more about how to get involved in them.

Also unsure how much karma was involved, but some years back I was invited to a beer tasting by a company keen to note what beer folk liked, and opinions on their bland, probably would offend no one so sell ok, new beer. Now that's the sort of help I'd like to give regularly.
was it a bland brand OG? ;-)
His fingers slipped booldawg. He has probably been sampling some of the blands already. Spot the deliberate mistake!
used to do a lot of cosmetic testing in the 1980s as I have very sensitive skin and if it was ok on me chances are it was ok for the general public... used to get paid about 40-50 quid to use a product for a week and make notes on it for the researchers... easy money and mostly the products were fine
I wonder if there is anywhere that employs old ladies who can't go out. If so please contact me at once, if not sooner.
Aa mentioned it was bland. I think many large breweries will be more concerned with selling lots because it is drinkable, than getting a good reputation beer because it is distinctive and appeals to a smaller segment. More profit in it.
