Of course, people will say that it's only a soap, not real, they are only actors etc but this whole storyline is leaving us "emotional" and the acting is first-rate.

im afraid that emmerdale has taken a rather boring avenue with this story , likewise eastenders doing a marraige for visa story like corrie did. and we all know how boring the corrie story has become . Excuse me whist i yawn.

I was in tears last night to. What a position for a mother to be in. Yes, I know it`s a soap but it me wonder how many people "in real llife" are in the same position. Brilliant acting by all involved in this storyline.

I agree with deggers and beejay. All 3 actors have been superb - even Pauline Quirke has dropped the comedienne act and has been very convincing. Imagine the position she's in (yes, I know it's not real), but these situations do happen.

Agreed, excellent acting by all three. Pauline Quirke looks much more (don't know what to call it - attractive?) maybe slimmer - hope she's not ill.
