The above mixes sample a Neapolitan (Naples, Italy) song from 1956, coincidentally the year the Eurovision Song Contest was first held. Eurovision rules do not allow for entries to include music or lyrics commercially available ahead of them being entered into competition.
Neapolitan could only be used for an entry by Italy. Italy returns to the 2011 competition after a 14 year absence, the last entry being 1997, itself being a return after multiple absences throughout the 80s and early 90s. The last (only?) entry sung in Neapolitan was in 1991.
