TY for the reply Andy. Immortality was a piece of 'chickrock' which had a fleeting place in the charts and a lasting impression on whatever brain cells of mine were functioning in Chelsea in '75/6. I thought it was Lesley Gore; but her back catalogue shows nothing, and it was not like her usual stuff. PS the NTT is on www.uproar.com but it is slow and full of MOR American stuff!

Hi Fiona - I've made some inquiries, but I've had no luck tracking down the song you mention, so I wonder ... are you absolutely sure about the title? I have chased songs down for people who've heard a chorus, and thought that the chorus is the title, only for it to be something totally different! For example, I searched for a song called 'I've Been Looking For You', which I never found - not surprising, because it's called 'Haven't You Heard' - see what I mean? So, if you're certain of the title, please let me know, and I'll track it down, but if anyone else out there can assist, don't wait for me - the more the merrier, that's what we aim for on The Answerbank.
