Heat wave...
13 Answers
I'm sure you've all heard that the Met Office are predicting a 2 week heat wave from this weekend onward, reaching up to the very late 20's apparently!
When it was nice in April, we had no chance of getting a parking space at West Kirby beach or Thurstaston common (near the beach, really nice for picnics), it was absolutely rammed! Gonna have to think of some other ways to spend the weekend before payday in the sun!
Will you plan anything nice or just go with the flow and enjoy it where you are?

And the week after we have a cottage in Norfolk - so a heatwave would be very welcome. The whole of the Solent & the Isli of Wiggetti, then Holkham Beach and the garden of Riverside Cottage will be enough for me.
oh eck red, well let's hope it doesn't get too bad!
I may be down near the south coast myself for bank holiday weekend Salla, my dad lives not far from Portsmouth and has invited us down for the weekend. Got 2 other party invites and a bbq too though so have to wait and see, don't think I fancy a 5 hour drive if it's too nice!!
