i moved out of my home in april as i could no longer live with my husband for various reason. we agreed if the house was ever sold any monies would go to our children, i sent money to him to cover the mortgage now i have just been informed he has been evicted from our matrimonial home where does this leave me or what can i do??? all replys would the grateful thanks

Please clarify. When you say 'evicted', do you mean that the house has been re-possesed by the bank/building society/mortgage company?

Firslty, what country are you in? Next, was the house in sole or joint names. Third, where did the cildren live? Fourth are you married or partners, divorced or seperated? Fifth, if the house is joint, did you inform the lender that you had a new address?

Unless he stopped paying in April, it would be unusual to get a repossession that quickly - usually takes a minimum of 6 months - longer if children live there.
