can you help please i am currently in receipt of jsa and am waiting to claim tax credits again but am 20 weeks pregnant and im really struggling, is there anything i can do?

you will probably be eligible for this Maternity Grant, but not until you have 11 weeks to go.

I assume your circumstances changed since you became pregnant as otherwise you would have foreseen this problem. There may not be any extra benefits you can get at this stage as I'm not aware pregnancy results in additional living costs at this stage, but your best bet is to ask at the benefis office on Monday.
Do you have a partner who can provide more support?
