Yes. Under the Act, there is a statutory requirement that sales of alcohol can only be made from premises that have been granted a premises licence. In addition, all premises MUST have a Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) appointed who is also a personal licence holder. Sales can only be made or authorised by a personal licence holder.
I have had plenty of pay parties in my time, though I never supplied drinks, and only "charged" for food. Just ak more for the food so it covers the drink
Be careful...that actually is against the law too....
Couldn't people put money into a kitty?
why would you want to sell booze to your friends and family? Am I missing something here?
The selling of food or and alcohol, require a mulittude of licences, for people and premises, even if its for now profit you still need a licence to sell alcohol, fire certificate ect, customs and excises would be very interest in you too, they have more power of entry and search than your police force. best stay away for this idea unless you like prison food.
I`m with B00 here (now that`s a first), why would you charge friends and family?
Could you not ask the people attending to bring a bottle wine/pack of beers etc and you supplied the food
