WE had a lovely new season leg of lamb just plain roasted with a sprig of rosemary, with Jersey Mids, petit pois, crispy roasties and baby carrots, lamb gravy, Fresh mint sauce. Caramelised apple tart (tarte tatin) for pud with pouring cream. Hubby cooked, It was delicious!
This morning I had my hair permed (don't ask) and then after lunch (two pieces of toast and half a large bag of giant chocolate buttons in case you are interested) the young chap up the road turned up complete with jet wash thingy and washed and swept my driveway. Did someone mention a day of rest? Ha-ha! Looking forward to a delicious cooked meal for dinner, brought down for me by a lovely lady. I am very fortunate.
