Skype Won't Sign Me On

I tried to Skype with my daughter when she was back in Southampton on a "turnaround" day. When I tried to sign, on the big circle just kept going round and round and wouldn't connect.

I uninstalled it then re-installed it to no avail. As I won't be able to Skype her again for two weeks now, anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? I was really looking foward to seeing her.

Thanks for that grasscarp. I've tried everything suggested on the site but still no joy. I've got 11 days before she comes back.
