If you fall pregnant on birth control, can you still have a period?

but you said you had a 'weird' period this time round that makes you think you're pregnant. A period usual makes you know you're not. Could have just been a break through bleed. Happens sometimes through stress, different diet etc

I did have a weird period. I was half way through my pill packet and the doctor told me to come off them and see if i get my period, which i did but it wasnt a normal period. He said if its light or short then i need to do a test.

if you wer on the pill it may be hard to tell what part of cycle you would really be in anyway. wait til 24th, take a test.

i dont understand why he would say. When you come off pill your periods vary so much, long, short, heavy, light... Id say wait couple of weeks then do test.
