Blackberry Storm repairs!!

Hi

A friend as a blackberry storm and unfortunatly dropped it so the screen is now cracked. However it still works fine. She is upgrading on her contract and will no longer need the phone. I would have it however how do i go about sending it off to blackberry to be repaired? Been on the uk site which wasnt all that helpful.

Any suggestions would be great.

Check youtube eg 'replacing screen on Blackberry storm' and ebay.

Youtube is full of great instruction videos on all kinds of things and you can probably buy a screen on ebay for a fraction of repair cost.

alternatively - if it's on contract

is it covered for repair?

why dont u ask ur friend to contact the contract provider and she being the acc holder will be able to impact better..she anyways is upgrading her contract and shud get a new phone........or if she has an insurance she can get a new one via the insurance company...
