In which programme? which one are you looking for?

1) Find a font website eg. http://www.1001freefonts.com/
2) Click on the relevant download link (which will save a Zip file to your default download location)
3) Double click on the Zip file
4) Click and drag the ttf file out
5) Open: C - Windows - Fonts
6) Click and drag the ttf file in

When you next open Word (etc) it should then be listed and available to use.

I have already got a huge choice of fonts on Word in 7, there are dozens on the drop down menu, are you looking for something different then?
