I doubt that was their intention when they get them, but that's obviously no excuse. if you've seen abuse, you should report it to the RSPCA.
absolutely - report it. People often take on pets without realising the responsibility of owning an animal.
cowards always pick on those that can't fight back - any absuse should be reported - take pictures if poss.
Where have you seen people kicking their dogs? I sincerely hope you've reported them! Normal people do not do this and it's up to us normal people to make sure these subhumans do not get away with doing this kind of thing.
It sickens me when I see our Pets being abused whether intentionally or not.
To many they become part of their family and are much loved by all.
If you cannot look after your pets properly then don't have any.
I reported someone kicking there dog outside my daughters school. I said to the woman if she does it again I will call the rspca there and then. She did it again I called them and they said that unless they see them doing it they can't do anything! With that I got my phone out and proceeded to record this woman and her dog. She didn;t do it after that and walked off. I followed her as I thought she may do it again. Thankfully she didn't. Bit@h!

We have a neighbour who acquired a minature Jack Russel terrier. They both work full time so the dog is on it's own from 7am-3pm. At weekends they leave it anything up to 10 hours. They walk it once in a blue moon and the Rspca do nothing!!!
oh icey, how horrible, I dread to think how i'd react if i saw something like that. I'd probably march up and snatch the dog away from her without really thinking of the consequences that could happen to me!
I had to stop myself Boo. I have got into trouble before because of my temper, I don't know when to stop. Having said that I would have reached a point where I would have had to have done something. I see her now and she hasn't done it again outside the school, just hope she doesn't do it at all but I doubt it.
I haven't got any animals myself although in the past we had a cat who lived until she was 18. However, if I saw anyone being cruel to any animal I would probably attack them with my walking stick, or shout verbal abuse at them, and I would certainly report them to someone I knew could do something about it. There is no need for cruelty.
A starving horse tethered in a field was set on fire near a town in N. Ireland last week.
The suspects are young - sadistic, vicious brutes.
Oh my god Anne. That is just sick! Those scum of the earth will go on to murder people. I hope they get their comeuppance!

If these 'people' were other-than-human animals they would ordered to be put down as dangerous animals. On occasions like this I'd almost like to say that it is a pity we don't do the same with these sub-humans!
