But this is the really well-known place around there:
http://www.theoldpumphouse.com/
It's got 22 reviews (with every one of them awarding it 5 stars!) here:

Unless it's changed since I last had a drink there, avoid the Buckinghamshire Arms. (It's one of those places which tries to be 'up market' but bases it's standards upon those of a quarter of a century ago).

I suggest The Old Pumphouse too but it is top end. http://www.theoldpumphouse.com/
as is Itteringham Mill http://www.itteringha...k/view-mill-rooms.htm
But for my money, the Old Mill House is a good bet. There are only two rooms so fingers crossed they have availablility but its reasoonably priced and adjoined to a windmill. see what you think - http://www.aylshamwindmill.co.uk/bandb.html

Thank you all - The Pump House was booked out. It appears that there are concerts up there and rooms are at a premium. However I have booked concert tickets and am now staying the weekend. Its expensive and I haven't even bought a chrstening present yet :-)
I ended up booking this place:
