When i have my apple crumble , I take the layer of crumble off the top of the apples - put it to one side of the dish - then eat the apple bit quickly first , so I can savour the lovely crumble at a leisurely pace .

If I have scrambled eggs, I like the toast on a side plate - if it goes under the eggs it goes soggy.

I always plan the bit that will be my last mouthful (it'll be the nicest bits of whatever I'm eating) and I put that on the side of the plate for the end. My step dad does it too :c)
