had this email sent to me and i am really chuffed that they are looking after me, only problem is i dont have an account with them

If we all send these scam emails to the respective banks, it helps them to trace where they're coming from. DON'T reply to the email as they them know they have got a valid email address and you will be inundated with spam.

I've had a couple from Paypal telling me that my Paypal account couldn't authorise my purchase and asking me to sign in and give my details again. I didn't of course and forwarded the e mail to Paypal's phishing site. I got a very nice reply from them which basically endorsed what helly-welly said by asking me to send any other stupid and criminal e mails to them. Their site is [email protected]
I've had "all of the above" - and I just forward them straight to the banks' phishing report addresses, I've got quite a long list now.
What I was really glad about yesterday was a long email from someone in America saying there had been trouble remitting money to me, and could I just reply to verify my details? - yeah, right ;-)
