The same thing happened to us years ago with a patio door, so when came to refit all our windows we went with one of the largest nationally known companies to try and avoid a repetition. I believe there is a Double Glazing Federation (Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF). If you can track them down they might be able to offer you some help or advice. Hope you get it sorted.
If the company are FENSA registered, then it would have been a 10 year insurance backed guarantee - obviously this means that any claim can be made against the insurance compnay. If it is not insurance backed then unless you purchased it by credit card or finance ocmpnay introduced by the double glazing firm, then I am afraid you are stuffed.
