I sold my car around 3 months ago which as since been sold on again .. This might seem a daft Q but is there anychance i can found out the name & address of the guy that sold it me in the 1st place? x

This shouldn't be subject to data protection, because it's detailed on the v5c once it's returned to you anyway. Perhaps the Police would tell you, but I doubt it - i certainly wouldn't! If you have enough reason to know, the DVLA may reply if you write to them, telling them what your reasons are.
