We had Sushi for lunch. We're having a big family Lamb Roast for dinner so I've snapped up a delicious NZ Syrah to take along.

I've been very busy in the garden today. Had a quick cheese and beetroot sandwich and am likely to have a salad later as I#m too worn out now to cook much.

I made a birthday cake the other day, Rowan. 'Twas a resounding success with the adults but the kids hated the idea of real cream and jam in the centre. Oh well, more for us. :-)

we are having roast pork & apple sauce, roast potatoes, greens, french beans and squash and carrot mashed together, lashings of gravy and I have made a rhubarb crumble and made custard to go with.Thats why we are called "The Stouts" !

We have chicken salad with a Thai dressing.... and have just had sushi for starters, now we're having a rest before the next course.
