Hi all.

I am making my own personal website which includes reviews of my entertainment collections. I wish to place an image of the book/CD/DVD next to it's review. Am I allowed to take the images from Amazon and use them for this purpose?

Do you know of any website that have uploaded book, CD or DVD covers for this purpose?

Thanks,
Sarah

Why can't you just take a photo of the cover and use that?
good plan - if you have the product, take your own picture of it. I would imagine amazon holds the copyright on its photos

I could take a photo, or rather scan the covers myself, but I have a fairly large collection and to do this for all of the covers would be very time consuming.
Just do a google image search for it, there will be loads of choices.

For example..

Don't link directly to somebody else's image as that's bad form, download it and use the image on your site. if you're worried about copyright open it and then resave it as a PNG image and it'll clear the exif info :)

Thanks, ChuckFickens. Guess I'll just use Amazon's or whoevers images but rename them.
