Probably wrong section.

Received a letter from Council at end of last week saying that they had been advised we had had a change of circs.

Filled out the form, took it into council this morning, she checked the form and the computer, all details are as had been notified at end of March beginning of April (5th April was final date of notification)

I'm suspicious, The nice Council lady couldn't find out why we had received their request.

The council sent us a threatening letter over 8p outstanding council tax.

I think their computers have a mind of their own.

We pay annually so whoever took the payment, at the council, got it wrong....

Didn't stop them sending letter after letter.....they must have spent at least £10 on paper alone.

Thanks ummmm. My OH thought it was a computer thingy too.

GIGO springs to mind tho (Garbage In Garbage Out) in the early days of computer excuses.

I've also had threatening letters to disconnect my Gas supply, that would have been interesting as we didn't have gas :)
