Microsoft money
I have windows xp and use Microsoft Money 2001. I back up on the last day of each month to a memory stick and last month's back up is overwritten with the new backup.
When I came to use the program this morning there was nothing on the computer so I tried to restore the back up but contrary to all the paperwork and instructions it kept asking for the password. I cannot remember what the p assword ever was. Is there any way that I can find out? I must say that I am totally non technical. The information on Microsoft Money 2000 was restored from an earlier version of the programme.

So try to use the same password and try to open Money 'offline'.
Its possible that you did'nt set a password, try leaving the password box blank and click the 'work offline' box.
