yes, I had the operation quite some years ago now & it was fine. nothing to worry about and took away all the problems I had. click on this link & it will tell you all about it. hope it helps

I had a carpel tunnel op around 1996, on my left hand.

due to my work, I had 3 months off work, because I couldnt lift anything for ages.

its soon healed and all was well.

was good to get rid of the tingling in my fingers

I had a carpel tunnel op 2 and a half months ago, there is nothing to worry about. you would have had worse trips to the dentists. The worst part for me was the waiting after i had my hand numbed. I was off work for around 3 weeks
