What's the name of the classical music...

...piece that (to my mind, at least) sounds very doom-laden and was used in the Old Spice adverts in the 1980's if my memory serves me correctly. I know it's a very famous piece but I can't remember what it was called or the composer?
Sorry for the cryptic nature of this question but that's about all I can think to write about it.
