Do you mean 0-60 time or top speed?

For acceleration I will stick my neck out and say its the Caterham 1.6 superlight with a time of 4.6 seconds. Id say the top speed of 129 MPH would take some beating too.

It has been known for a Formula Ford 1600 to attain 140+ mph.

Are you meaning production engine, special, racing or wat? All depends what gearbox and differential and tyre size and wheel size and weather conditions, and a few other things are attatched to it.

Normally apirated or turbo/supercharged?

Honda runs a Civic 1.6 Vtec rally car that produces 200bhp

Formula One cars were allowed to have turbo-charged engines until 1989. They were limited to 1500cc and the best produced more than 1,000bhp - a little more than the three litre normally aspirated cars of today.
