Samsung GT S5620 Mobile Phone

My son bought me this phone for Christmas to replace an old one which was very basic. I only really have my phone for texting and in case of emergency and am only just getting used to this all singing all dancing phone. For the first time yesterday I received a MMS but when I try to open it I get this message "Retrieving failed Service unavailable". Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can put it right?

I have the samssung tocco gt-s5230 and I had the same problem .As I am with vodaphone I took it back there and they done it for me and no problems now with mms

I bought it from car phone warehouse but they told me to go to the vodafone shop as there computers was down at that time

you could go into the samsung site and try the configuration they send it to your phone but it didn't work for me

I received an email from AnswerBank to say I had a response to this question but when I logged on it says "answer removed" so obviously I can't look at it. Why would that be?

Thanks ChuckFickens - I have seen answers removed on other threads and often wondered why. Do Answerbank monitor every thread or would somebody have reported it? I've actually resolved the problem now. I found the settings I needed on the Vodafone site, entered them on my phone and it worked.

It could have been spotted by a Moderator and the user banned, or it was reported and the Eds attention was drawn to it with the same result.
