Is it possible to have ulcerative colitis, or crohns disease (or diverticulitis or proctitis) without having weight loss?
Could you have many of the symptoms without the weight loss?

You really need to find out which one it is. They're all different. Diverticulitis isn't IBD. Proctitis can be associated with UC or Crohns. And unless you're going to the toilet alot, weight loss doesn't necessarily occur. Treatment plans vary too so get the diagnosis quickly and then you can treat the cause rather than the symptoms. BB

Diverticulitis and proctitis (depending on the cause of proctitis)...........YES.

But ulcerative colitis and Chrohn's Disease is invariably accompanied by weight loss.
